Chapter 23
For Ian’s sake, and also so that Liliana can enjoy a comfortable school life as much as possible, I would like to ask that he remain without a fiancée until Liliana graduates.
Even Aden, though he is still 14 years old, is already very popular among young ladies of marriageable age who hope to become a son-in-law.
I truly am grateful to have such wonderful brothers.
Liliana has a very cute, small appearance, but those who know her well say she is like a “highly alert wild chipmunk.”
It seems chipmunks can become quite aggressive from before hibernation until they wake up, and Liliana is said to be exactly like that.
If Liliana were to hear this, she would likely get angry, saying, “It’s rude to call me aggressive!” or “I do not run around rampaging!” — but it seems she does not know this yet.
(Information provider: Ian Villiers)
Thanks to her brother’s sacrifice—or perhaps because of it—Liliana managed to escape today’s painful situation safely. Expressing her gratitude to Brother Ian, she hurriedly boarded the carriage and headed for the royal castle.
This was because she had recently begun “Crown Prince Consort education.”
Since the Crown Princess training takes place at the royal castle, she goes there every day after finishing her classes at the academy.
Liliana’s current day can be summarized in one word: “busy.”
In the morning, Molly wakes her up, she changes clothes, has breakfast, and then travels by carriage to the academy.
In the morning, she attends three classes, enjoys a luxurious lunch with her close noble lady friends, and takes one more class in the afternoon.
Sometimes she entertains the young ladies mentioned earlier, and once that is done, she quickly takes a carriage to the royal castle, where the (troublesome) Crown Princess education begins.
Because she returns home late, dinner is taken at the royal castle together with the royal family.
I wonder if it’s just my imagination, but does everyone look at me, Liliana, with warm, watching eyes?
But more importantly — the royal castle’s food is wonderful!
I always eat dessert all the way to the end, but for some reason, everyone encourages me to eat their share as well.
Before I realize it, there are six desserts placed in front of me (including my own portion), and of course, I eat all of them without hesitation and with great enjoyment.
Then, being rocked by the carriage, I return to the Villiers household, but by that time I am already fighting sleepiness.
How many times have I almost drowned in the bathtub because of that?
Each time, I feel Molly’s tired, somewhat disappointed gaze as if she were looking at something hopeless on my back.
Crawling my way to the bed, I reach it like a creeping thing, and fall asleep in three seconds without even having time to count sheep.
Thank you very much for all the comments and emails (o^^o)
With two updates a day and being busy with housework and work, I am truly sorry that I cannot reply to everyone m(_ _)m
Although I cannot reply individually, I have read all of your messages and am using them as references.
Your warm words are becoming a great encouragement for my next updates.
Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude m(_ _)m
