Synopsis
“You said you liked men!”
Leah is murdered by her husband after marrying to pay off her older brother’s gambling debts. When she regresses to the past, she’s determined to avoid that tragic marriage at all costs.
Her solution? A contract marriage with her childhood friend, Cain.
Cain is handsome, wealthy, and seemingly perfect in every way. More importantly, he’s the safest man in the world for a marriage of convenience—or so Leah believes, convinced that he’s into men. After all, she had even stepped aside and given up his former fiancée without ever doubting it.
“If I like men anyway, doesn’t that make it even less of a problem?”
“Huh?”
“A kiss… just for practice.”
But the sweet smile her childhood friend wears as he joins her in bed seems… oddly suspicious.
