Synopsis
“Commoner girl.”
Olivia could never grow accustomed to those scornful words, no matter how many times she heard them.
Titles such as the first female university student and valedictorian meant nothing in the face of her birth.
Then, one day, the Herod royal family offered her Noah Astrid, the flower of the royal household.
She had a feeling that this flower was filled with poison.
Even so, she had no choice but to accept it.
And once she held that flower for the first time, she couldn’t help but fall in love with it.
Because to her, it felt like salvation.
“Where is the Crown Princess? She was supposed to accompany me to today’s event.”
Even her sarcastic and authoritarian father-in-law, the King of Herod…
“Olivia, if Noah ever upsets you, tell me anytime.”
Even her beautiful mother-in-law, the Queen…
“You’ll stay with me today, won’t you?”
Even the adorable youngest member of the royal family adored Olivia.
Everyone loved her…
Except for one person.
Her husband, Noah Astrid.
He knelt before her, gently slipped her shoes onto her feet, lifted a glass of water to her lips, and urged her to drink.
Then, with that breathtakingly beautiful face, he whispered cruelly:
“Think carefully about what I was supposed to receive in exchange for marrying you… and what price you owe me in return. It’s not that difficult, is it?”
The price she had to pay for her salvation…
Was the one thing she hated most in the world.
Noah stared blankly as his salvation fell into the sea.
“Olivia!!”
Her limp body bled profusely, dying before his eyes.
Only then did Noah finally realize the truth.
Her very existence had always been his salvation.
The price of salvation was never meant for her to pay.
It was his.
