~Chapter 19~
Something is strange……
Liliana was confused.
When she was guided to Prince William’s room, someone who completely ignored her walking pace had forced her to hurry along at a small jogging speed.
But this prince walking beside her now was matching her pace properly.
Well, that was how it should be in the first place.
She wondered what on earth had happened inside this prince’s mind in such a short time.
Or perhaps that earlier little jog had just been her own misunderstanding?
She couldn’t help but glance up at William walking beside her.
Noticing her gaze, William said,
“What is it? Not enough sweets yet?”
Then he patted Liliana’s head and instructed a nearby servant to bring more sweets to the reception room as take-home treats.
The servant’s eyes widened as if shocked by something, then he bowed and left.
The sweets were delicious enough, thank you very much.
If she were going to receive souvenirs, she would gladly accept them.
However, she still hadn’t managed to get the prince to say the words “change the fiancée.”
After Liliana’s “feeding session” ended, the muscular, laughter-prone young man Daniel had laughed at her endlessly, and then a servant came to call, saying, “His Majesty the King is calling you.”
So they were now heading toward the reception room where the King, Queen, and her parents were waiting, leaving the still-laughing muscleman behind.
Honestly, the muscleman was laughing too much.
“Seriously, that musclehead Danny laughs way too much!”
The moment she recalled it, irritation rose and the words slipped out of her mouth.
But William seemed to hear her clearly.
“Is ‘Danny Musclehead’ referring to Danny?”
Liliana nodded repeatedly.
“That laugh was very rude to a lady. So as thanks, I shall spread the embarrassing nickname ‘Danny Musclehead’ for him. I ask that you help spread it too, William-sama. And I will pray every day that his nose hair grows three times faster.”
“May he be ashamed by exposing nose hair in front of the woman he likes!”
Despite clenching her fists and breathing heavily, the curse was so strangely trivial that William couldn’t hold back and burst out laughing.
“Nose hair growing three times faster… What a cute curse,” he chuckled.
Murmurs spread among the servants around them.
After all, the “Ice Prince” who never laughs was laughing.
