I was startled by the sudden low and eerie warning voice and turned around.
There stood a handsome blond man.
Unlike my naturally frizzy hair, his hair was smooth and silky like my older sister Emma’s at first glance.
His face was also so pale, as if he had never received even a single ray of sunlight, showing how precious and sheltered he had been while growing up.
It was my first time seeing a man with such a strong presence.
Besides, somehow, his face felt familiar.
Although his expression looked fierce because his eyebrows were furrowed, someone with that kind of appearance definitely could not be an ordinary person….
“I apologize, Your Highness.”
Siana knew the identity of the handsome man.
He was the Crown Prince, of all people!
Without realizing it, my delicate head lowered at the name of power.
“I apologize for my rudeness, Your Highness.”
“This is an academy, so we do not care about status here. Call me senior instead.”
“Yes, senior.”
While obediently greeting him, I secretly raised my head and examined the Crown Prince.
As expected, my guess that someone with such an appearance would not be an ordinary person was correct.
The handsome man in front of me was none other than Liam Grayson, the first male lead candidate from <Academy Love♡ ~Who Is the Male Lead?>!
He was also one of the candidates who would become my future brother-in-law.
Naturally, I wanted to take a closer look.
“What are you looking at?”
“Ah, nothing.”
Unfortunately, perhaps because the first male lead candidate had been born as the Crown Prince, his personality seemed a little sharp.

“Collecting information is a family tradition in my household. Since this is the academy I will attend in the future, I need to know at least all the important information before coming here.”
Siana took out a small notebook and pen from her pocket.
The notebook was already filled with countless notes.
Her extraordinary determination to uncover everything about the academy was impressive.
“That’s amazing… Siana.”
“Ahem.”
Despite the warning, Liam’s sharp gaze once again fell on us because we continued whispering.
Even so, we pretended to look forward and continued whispering until the entrance ceremony ended.
After the entrance ceremony ended, we entered the assigned A-Class.
As Siana sat next to me, she was busy looking around the classroom.
“Oh, that child is from the Aina family….”
I could not memorize every single explanation Siana gave me.
I could just slowly memorize everyone’s names later.
While the students were chatting among themselves, the front door opened, and a dark presence entered the classroom.
“Ah, h-hello….”
She was a short woman who looked terrified, as if someone had shouted at her, and she was shrinking her entire body.
She seemed to have greeted us, but her voice was so faint that it did not reach the students’ ears.
Maybe it was just my imagination, but behind her, I felt like I could see a strange-colored shadow that looked like a mixture of purple and gray.
“I am, your homeroom teacher, Karen Vale….”
When I saw her shyly introduce herself, I raised my voice and greeted her.
“Hello, Teacher Karen Vale!”
Only then did the students notice the existence of their homeroom teacher and quickly turned their attention to the front.
Perhaps she was moved by my help, because the homeroom teacher was looking at me with watery eyes.
“Just call me Teacher Karen….”
“Hello, Teacher Karen.”
Fortunately, there did not seem to be any particularly troublesome students, as everyone sat in their seats and properly greeted the teacher.
That sight seemed to move Teacher Karen to tears again.
She took out a handkerchief and finally wiped her eyes.
“I-I have never seen such kind students before…. Sob.”
I wondered what kind of students she had met until now.
For the first time, I became curious about the identity of the senior students.
“My, my subject is magic studies….”
Huh?
For some reason, that subject name seemed to touch an old trauma.
After the magic that affected my brain caused my private tutor to be fired, I remembered how many struggles I went through before finally finding a proper tutor.
Thanks to that, my grades in other subjects were fine, but I had suffered greatly just to get above average in magic studies.

On the other hand, Siana happily said that.
Of all things, my homeroom teacher’s subject had to be my weakest one.
Thinking about disappointing that gentle teacher in the future made me feel terribly sorry.
Teacher Karen then handed out parchment papers containing the academy rules.

All students within the academy are equal as students. The use of titles that reveal outside status is prohibited.
Magic may only be used inside classrooms and designated areas within the academy.
Swords may only be used inside classrooms and designated areas within the academy.

“So basically, just live normally inside the academy.”
I folded the parchment and carelessly put it into my desk drawer after summarizing the contents myself.
“T-Then I will end class here…. Everyone, have a g-good first class….”
The students were supposed to greet the teacher, but instead, Teacher Karen bowed to the students and ran out of the classroom as if escaping.
I could feel that the other students, including me, were equally dumbfounded.
“She sure is a unique teacher.”
“Indeed. But I’m worried about how she will teach when she is so timid. What if the students bully her and she collapses?”
“No way.”
I waved my hand and laughed.
No matter what, she was still a teacher. Would she really collapse while teaching?
If there was actually a teacher like that, wouldn’t the academy principal have already fired her?
Thanks to Teacher Karen escaping early, there was still plenty of time before the first class.
At that moment, a voice calling my name came from outside the classroom.
“Olivia!”
“Big sister!”
Unable to wait until break time, Emma came to our classroom.

I felt like my sister was the one worrying too much.
I tried to signal that I wanted her to let go of my cheeks, but it was useless.

At that moment, a huge dark shadow appeared behind Emma.
My sister had a good figure and was already quite tall, but this person was even taller than her by an entire head.
I rolled my eyes and looked up.
Wasn’t this the person I had seen before?
“Look, isn’t she cute? She’s my little sister Olivia.”
Fortunately, Emma released my cheeks when introducing me to her friend.
I rubbed my reddened cheeks and greeted him again.
“Nice to meet you, senior.”
“Nice to see you again, new student.”
Unfortunately, Liam seemed to remember that I was the new student who had been talking during the entrance ceremony.
“What? You two already know each other?”
Emma hugged me and glared at Liam as if being cautious of him.
“She was talking during the entrance ceremony, so I only warned her.”

Looking at my sister protecting me so fiercely, Liam sighed.
He shook his head as if thinking, ‘Emma really can’t be stopped.’
But something felt strange.

Then Liam was supposed to become conscious of Emma and eventually fall in love with her….
But seeing them now, there was no sign of rivalry.
They just looked like close friends.
“Big sister, are you close with this senior?”
My sister answered as if it was obvious.
“Of course. He’s my closest friend at the academy.”
“That close?”
Shocked, I looked at the first brother-in-law candidate.
Could it be that he was secretly jealous of Emma’s grades and burning inside?
Could he just be pretending to be friends because he wanted to appear relaxed?
My suspicious gaze was unfortunately noticed by Liam.
“Why are you looking at me like that, little sister?”
Afraid that he might realize my intentions, an excuse automatically slipped out of my mouth.
