I Picked Up My Ex-Husband Who Lost His Memory

Synopsis

“Q. A man is lying unconscious in front of My Sweet Home. Describe the probability that this man is your ex-husband. (10 points)”

I was reincarnated as a minor supporting character who dies before the original story even begins. More specifically, I became the terminally ill wife of a Grand Duke who would later become the male lead’s closest confidant.

“Live as though you’re already dead. I’ll grant you the bare minimum of courtesy.”

Since our marriage was an arranged one forced upon us against our will, my husband’s attitude toward me was unbearably cold.

But as if! I absolutely refuse to die. I’m going to survive no matter what!

“……Why is this man here?”

I successfully faked my death, fled to the countryside, and was living a peaceful life. So, what were the odds that my ex-husband would suddenly collapse right in front of my house?

“I don’t remember anything.”

“Pardon?”

It was a relief that he didn’t recognize me, but there was one problem: His Highness the Grand Duke, a man with a million things to do, had absolutely no intention of leaving our village.

“Perhaps we should make some more inquiries……”

“If my memories return, will you leave me, Ruen?”

“Pardon? Well, if you find your family, you should go back to them.”

“……If that’s the case, I hope my memories never return for the rest of my life.”

Can losing one’s memory really change a person?

“Oh, come on! People will get the wrong idea if they hear that. We’re not even dating.”

I tilted my head as I watched his handsome face crumple in an instant. Why did he suddenly look so upset?

“That man resembles a cat? He’d be more like a lion, if anything!”

“I heard some suspicious people have been lurking around the village lately. It seems they’re looking for someone……”

「WARNING! Do not enter the forest at night. Risk of encountering unidentified wild beasts.」

And just what on earth is going on around me?
