** Mommy, You’re So Annoying, You Know That?**

Thinking about the car race tonight and seeing Aunt Wu Wu looking so cool again, she became happy once more.

After changing her clothes, Feng Jingxin picked up her phone and glanced at it.

Soon, her little brows furrowed.

In the past, whenever she sent Aunt Wu Wu a message, Aunt Wu Wu would reply very quickly.

But today, she had already finished washing up, and Aunt Wu Wu still hadn’t replied.

Could Aunt Wu Wu be angry?

With that thought, she quickly sent Lin Wu another message.

[Aunt Wu Wu, what’s wrong? Are you angry?]

[Aunt Wu Wu, you know I didn’t want Mommy to take me to school. You know I like you more. Aunt Wu Wu, please don’t be angry, okay?]

For a long while, Lin Wu didn’t reply.

After Rong Ci finished getting ready, she came to find her: “Xinxin? Are you ready? Time to go downstairs for breakfast.”

Not having received a reply from Lin Wu, Feng Jingxin was extremely anxious. Faced with Rong Ci’s urging, she said impatiently, “I know! Mommy, can you please stop talking all the time? You’re so annoying, you know that?”

With that, she grabbed her backpack and stomped downstairs, fuming.

Rong Ci watched her and followed behind without saying anything.

But she noticed that the clothes Feng Jingxin was wearing looked unfamiliar.

Her clothes had always been prepared by Rong Ci — of course, after asking for her opinion, and they matched her preferences.

But ever since Feng Jingxin had followed Feng Tingshen to Country A, her aesthetic had changed.

She had heard it was because she had started learning rock climbing and skateboarding with Lin Wu.

She had heard that Lin Wu was not only an outstanding student but also had many hobbies. She was an extremely dazzling and charismatic modern woman.

She was very good at skateboarding, rock climbing, paragliding, and more.

Feng Jingxin idolized her, so much so that her personal preferences had changed.

Regarding this, although Rong Ci had been sad that Feng Jingxin was so close to Lin Wu, since these were her preferences, she had never said anything.

In fact, over the past two years, when buying clothes for her, she had already switched to buying according to her current tastes.

But the new clothes she bought for Feng Jingxin — Feng Jingxin had only glanced at them and never worn any of them.

She now only wore the clothes Lin Wu picked out for her.

When they went downstairs, Feng Tinglin and the others hadn’t woken up yet.

The old lady was already awake.

Rong Ci smiled: “Yes. Good morning, Grandma.”

Feng Jingxin was in a bad mood and said gloomily, “Good morning, Great-Grandma.”

The old lady: “Xinxin, are you unhappy? What happened?”

Feng Jingxin didn’t speak.

She didn’t want to talk.

The butler had heard Rong Ci knocking on Feng Jingxin’s door. He smiled and said, “She was probably woken up before she was fully awake. That’s why she’s in a bad mood.”

Hearing this, the old lady smiled, then asked, “Where’s Tingshen? Isn’t he up yet?”

Rong Ci’s expression remained calm as she said, “Tingshen had something to do last night and went out.”

The old lady’s face immediately darkened.

She almost instantly guessed what had happened.

But seeing that a child was present, she didn’t want to scold Feng Tingshen in front of her, so she said nothing.

After breakfast, as they were about to leave, Feng Jingxin realized she had forgotten something and ran upstairs to get it.

Rong Ci sat downstairs waiting for her.

Just then, Feng Jingxin’s phone screen lit up.

Someone had sent her a message.

Rong Ci saw the six-character note on the message preview: “Dear Aunt Wu Wu.”

Rong Ci paused.

Although Feng Jingxin was still young, ever since she had gotten a phone, Rong Ci had always respected her privacy.

She had never snooped on her phone.

But after seeing the content Lin Wu had sent, she hesitated for a moment, then picked up the phone.

And then she understood why Feng Jingxin had been losing her temper at her all morning.

She quickly scrolled through their chat history and saw that Feng Jingxin proactively sent Lin Wu a good morning message every single day.

They chatted every day.

And for a long time.

When she heard the sound of the elevator approaching, RongCi pretended she hadn’t seen anything and put the phone back in its place.

Feng Jingxin retrieved her phone, opened it, and saw that Lin Wu had finally replied. Lin Wu said she couldn’t bear to be angry with her and that the reason she hadn’t replied earlier was because she hadn’t woken up yet.

After reading Lin Wu’s message, Feng Jingxin immediately broke into a happy smile.

Rong Ci was walking ahead. Glancing back slightly, she knew exactly why Feng Jingxin was so happy.

Feng Jingxin was immersed in her joy and didn’t notice Rong Ci looking back.

Once in the car, Feng Jingxin sat in the back and started messaging Lin Wu.

Occasionally, she would sneak a look to see if Rong Ci was paying attention to her.

Seeing that Rong Ci was just focused on driving, she felt relieved.

However, the distance to the school was long. After half an hour of chatting with Lin Wu, Feng Jingxin stopped.

By then, Feng Jingxin was in a good mood again and felt like talking to Rong Ci.

“Mommy, are you free this afternoon?”

Rong Ci didn’t turn around: “Why?”

Feng Jingxin didn’t say directly. She whined, “Just tell me.”

“I have a lot of things to do lately. I’m not free. Why?”

Feng Jingxin smiled happily: “Noth— nothing.”

Since Mommy wasn’t free this afternoon, she definitely wouldn’t make a special trip to pick her up from school.

That meant after school, she could go straight to Aunt Wu Wu without worrying about Mommy finding out. Yay!

At the school, Rong Ci accompanied Feng Jingxin to chat with her homeroom teacher for a while, then followed the teacher to Feng Jingxin’s classroom.

Just as they reached the classroom door, a sweet little voice called out to Rong Ci: “Sister Rong!”

Rong Ci was startled. A small, pink little figure suddenly threw itself into her arms.

Afraid the child might fall, Rong Ci quickly bent down to catch her.

When the child looked up, Rong Ci recognized her immediately: “Tian Tian?”

It was the neighbor’s child she had saved a few days ago from nearly being bitten by a dog.

“Yes!” Tian Tian had two cute little pigtails. She was very pink and adorable, with a sweet smile. She looked especially well-behaved. Rong Ci instinctively softened her voice and smiled: “Tian Tian, are you going to school here too—”

“Ah!”

Before Rong Ci could finish speaking, the little girl Tian Tian in her arms was shoved hard by Feng Jingxin.

Rong Ci quickly caught the child as she stumbled: “Tian Tian, are you okay?”

Tian Tian shook her head, her eyes welling up with tears as she looked at Feng Jingxin, not understanding why she had pushed her: “You… how can you push someone…”

When Feng Jingxin saw another child throw herself into Rong Ci’s arms, she didn’t react at first. But when she saw that the child seemed very familiar with Rong Ci, and that Rong Ci was holding her without letting go, her expression soured.

Seeing Tian Tian about to cry from the fall, Feng Jingxin sneered with disdain: “So weak and fragile, all pink and soft — ugly and disgusting!”
