I enthusiastically checked out about three schools from the list of high schools with lots of handsome guys, but I just wasn’t feeling it and ended up going home empty-handed.
Nagisa sent me messages and even called, but I just wasn’t in the mood anymore…
I turned off my phone, didn’t eat dinner, burrowed into bed, and before I knew it, it was morning.
I snapped awake and looked at the clock—it was already past the time I’d usually have arrived at school.

I scrambled to get changed, rushed down the stairs, and dashed towards school at full speed.
