Synopsis

It had been five years since I possessed Bianca Vardencia, the villainous duke’s daughter in a game. It had been a perfect life as a transmigrator.“My lady, please pay your respects so that Lady Bianca Vardencia may rest in peace on her journey.”But then, out of nowhere, I died? “I’m getting out of this place.”The female protagonist, who was also a transmigrator, announced that she was leaving. Since she was willing to disappear on her own, I gladly helped her.“Are you all right, Lady Mersh?”But when I opened my eyes, I had become the female protagonist! And to make matters worse, I was at the funeral of the very duke’s daughter whose body I had originally possessed! It was already infuriating enough that five years of backbreaking effort had gone down the drain. But now, the way people treated the female protagonist was strange.“I can’t exactly tear you apart and kill you right here, can I?”“M-My lord, please forgive me!”“This deal must remain in effect, my lady. If that person finds out, I’m finished!”…What on earth had that transmigrator been doing while inhabiting the female protagonist’s body? Now that I was neither the celebrated duke’s daughter nor the beloved female protagonist, an unexpected visitor appeared—even a self-proclaimed courtesan who had sneaked onto the balcony—and whispered:“You promised you would give me the Empire.”Former villainess, current female lead.Sure, this is my second time possessing someone in this world, but is it really fair for the difficulty level to be this ridiculously high?
