The morning after I told him it was over,
a message from Yu came right away.
Yesterday, I’d clearly said we should break up.
But Yu hadn’t accepted it—he’d just muttered, “Give me some time,” and left on his own.
“Even at the end, you’re still the same—running away when things get inconvenient,”
I muttered to myself, smiling bitterly at the contents of his message.
“I’m sorry for everything. Let’s break up.”
It was just like Yu—not even able to say something properly in person.
From beginning to end, he really was hopeless.
