Synopsis
“I want a divorce.”
Bendia’s eyes blinked slowly at the words that came from her husband’s mouth.
Well, of course she was shocked. Bendia Rose had been completely confident.
After all, in stories where the male lead regrets his actions, everything is supposed to begin when the heroine asks for a divorce. That’s when the male lead realizes his mistakes, reforms himself, and desperately fights to win her love back.
But what was this?
He was actually divorcing her?
Wasn’t he supposed to agonize over it? Become obsessed with her? Regret everything?
This made no sense!
As unbelievable as it was, everything proceeded smoothly.
That’s right.
Bendia had been genuinely divorced.
Wait… wasn’t I supposed to be the heroine of a regret story?
“Fine! I don’t have any lingering feelings either. I’ll live an amazing life just to show you!”
Bendia moved to the Rims Territory.
She planned to live a carefree life as a wealthy landlady, managing the mansion her ex-husband had given her and living off the rent.
But then…
“When are you going to fix the fireplace?! It’s so cold I can’t sleep!”
She somehow ended up with a tenant who threw a fit over the fireplaceβin the middle of summer.
Then there was this:
“M-Milady… shall we bury them?”
She accidentally hired a suspicious estate manager who was terrible at his job.
And now what?
A murder… in her mansion?
As she struggled with one headache after another, a man approached her.
“It’s been a long time, my lady.”
It was Denros Calvermerβ
Her ex-husband.
