If you need a favor, just ask.”The landlord turns out to be the man she never wants to see again!“…No. I’ll be leaving first.”“Have you found somewhere to live? Don’t tell me you’re planning to sleep on the streets.”Danbi, whose pride tells her to leave the place as quickly as possible, is forced to sit back down when his words hit the nail on the head.“Could you let me stay in that house, at least until I can save enough money for the deposit?”“Sure. We should help each other out. Forget the rent and just hurry up and save enough for the deposit.”When she finally manages to ask for help out of sheer desperation, he readily agrees.“Wait, just a second. Senior, are you serious?”“What is there that I can’t do for you? This is hardly a big deal.”Just as Danbi’s large eyes begin to shimmer with gratitude—“But there’s already someone living in that house.”“…Who?”“Me.”“Gasp…! Are you kidding me right now?!”Danbi eventually explodes in anger at him.“What kind of crazy woman lives with her ex-husband?!”Because the man standing right in front of her is none other than her ex-husband!Illustration ⓒ Monstera
