Synopsis

It’s been 25 years since I was reincarnated, and my business has gone bankrupt.Just when I’m at a loss about how I’m supposed to make a living, the boss of an organization offers me a job as his secretary. The problem is… I’m far too cowardly to handle all the various tasks he wants me to do.And yet…“So, you caught the spies while even mocking them by running along walls and racing after them?”“Somehow, it just happened…?”I put my experience as a trainee knight to good use and capture spies.“Well done. You even established common ground with them. Impressive, isn’t it?”Drawing on my experience dealing with business partners as a merchant, I manage to extract a confession from an assassin.“Th-this is supposed to help me build c-courage…! Huh?”“Well done. Now that you’ve removed the thorn, it won’t go on a rampage anymore.”I even manage to calm down a magical beast under the pretext of courage training.I’m really solving all these problems myself. Is this… actually right? “Secretary, would five times your current salary be enough?”“…Five times?”“I’m seriously trying to keep you here, you know.”Is this what they call… h-happiness?
