Synopsis
I thought I only had to avoid dying the way I did in the original story, so why are both of them acting like this toward me?
I became trapped inside a dark BL novel called In a World of Despair.
Unfortunately, I possessed the body of Frey Rubelia, the only person who could cure the plague called Rosifer. But shortly after everyone discovered this secret, Frey mysteriously died.
I don’t know who killed him or why.
One thing is certain: if the story follows the original plot, I’ll die again.
So, there was only one answer.
Let’s run away!
But just as I confidently climbed over the wall to escape, I accidentally fell straight into the arms of Duke Samuel Norbert, the man I was supposed to marry.
“For a little nighttime stroll, your route seems rather suspicious.”
If things had ended there, I would have considered myself lucky.
But then Crown Prince Regulus, whom I didn’t even remember, claimed that he, Samuel, and Frey had been childhood friends since they were young.
Both Samuel, whom I knew from the original novel, and Regulus, whose very existence I had never known about, seemed strangely connected to Frey’s past.
“Good. Then focus on your feelings now, Frey.”
“Nothing about the past matters.”
A past that never existed in the original story.
Memories that have completely disappeared.
