Synopsis
I thought I had died, but instead, I found myself reincarnated into a modern fantasy novel.
And not just as anyone—I became Anastasius, the dungeon master known as the ‘Demon King.’
“Wow, amazing. So that means I don’t have to live in a tiny seven-pyeong studio apartment and pay 600,000 won in rent every month anymore?”
I had been asleep for 100 years as a consequence of dying from overwork, but who cares about that?
Because I’m the Demon King!
Sure, because the dungeon’s master had been asleep, its rank had plummeted dramatically from S-rank to D-rank.
But that’s not so bad!
Why?
Because I’m the Demon King.
……I may definitely be the Demon King, but—
“You’re all my dungeon monsters from now on. I’ll provide you with homes and wages, so come immigrate here.”
“Waaaaah!”
“Could the Demon King punish them so that there will be no more victims?”
“You didn’t even have to ask. I was already planning to do that.”
It’s not because I’m kind.
I’m simply behaving sensibly as a modern person.
Apparently, all the other dungeon bosses engage in dictatorships and wars.
They don’t provide food or medicine, and they even beat their own people……
What? They don’t give them food?
“Ah, this is what you call ‘wood-fired pizza’ and ‘popcorn’…….”
“W-Wooooow!!”
Whatever. I don’t care anymore.
I’ll show you what a K-Demon King who never lets his people go hungry is capable of!
[The identity of Demon King ‘Anastasius’ conflicts with the rise in public support.]
[Status Ailment: Hematemesis, Anemia.]
Occasionally coughing up blood is a little annoying…
But it should be fine, right?
