Synopsis
“Herwin! I like you! Will you go out with me?”
“I refuse.”
Without even a second of hesitation, Herwin coldly rejected Lucia’s confession.
And so, Lucia’s 98th confession ended in spectacular failure.
Lucia had been in love with Herwin for thirteen years, from the age of eight until now, at twenty-one. Her feelings for Herwin had remained unwavering despite confessing to him 98 times, but Herwin’s feelings had not.
Although the realization left her with a profound sense of loss, Lucia still could not let go of her feelings for Herwin.
Then, her parents suggested that she meet someone for a potential marriage arrangement.
Unable to go against her parents, Lucia decided to confess her feelings to Herwin one last time.
“I’m sorry, Lucia.”
Even after her 99th and supposedly final confession, Herwin still did not accept her.
Realizing that everything was truly over, Lucia decided to attend the arranged meeting as she had promised her parents.
“Lucia, who’s the man beside you?”
Her friends were bewildered when Lucia arrived with a man they had never seen before as her partner.
Even Herwin seemed genuinely shocked, his red eyes widening.
Lucia deliberately avoided his gaze and said,
“He’s the person who will become my fiancé.”
