Synopsis
Aria proposed a contract marriage. And not just to anyone, but to the Grand Duke of Valentine’s eldest son, who was rumored to have sold his soul to the devil.
It was to protect herself and to protect him.
[Marry me.]
With her tiny, maple-leaf-like hands, Aria held out a marriage contract along with a note.
[Since this is a contract marriage, we’ll get divorced after ten years……]
But the young Grand Duke snatched the note she had been writing and tore it into shreds before asking,
“Then, where do I sign?”
“You promised you’d divorce me when I grew up.”
The Grand Duke, who had once been a child but had now grown into a man, spoke as he reverently kissed the top of her head.
“Now that I’m an adult, we should make an adult contract.”
