Chapter 10
The Fever Wouldn’t Stop
If he found him so boring—
Then why come after him at all?
Maybe rich people’s twisted interests were simply something he could never understand.
Shi Yushen undid two buttons at his collar and threw Lin Suian onto the sofa.
“It’s fine if you don’t like talking.”
“As long as you know how to cry out when we’re doing it.”
The moment Shi Yushen leaned closer, Lin Suian instinctively shrank away.
Like a frog seeing a poisonous snake, fear filled his widened eyes.
But even that tiny subconscious movement somehow displeased Shi Yushen.
His tone instantly turned impatient.
“What are you hiding from?”
From the bottom of his heart, Lin Suian was completely straight.
How could he possibly like men?
Let alone do such intimate things with a man he had only met a few times.
And he had already experienced Shi Yushen’s roughness before.
How could he not be afraid?
“I’m sorry, Mr. Shi.”
But since he had angered him, he could only lower his head and apologize.
Shi Yushen’s expression remained cold and dark.
“Don’t ruin my mood. If you keep being disobedient, I’ll send you back to Qin You.”
If he returned to Qin You—
His ending would only be worse.
If Shi Yushen no longer wanted him, Qin You would simply send him to someone else.
But now that his mother finally had money for treatment again, how could he give up so easily?
From Shi Yushen’s earlier words, it was obvious what he wanted—
He wanted Lin Suian to stop resisting.
Suppressing the nausea in his stomach, Lin Suian lifted his head and tried to kiss Shi Yushen.
But before his lips could touch him, Shi Yushen suddenly moved away.
Lin Suian’s lips only brushed against his jaw.
Shi Yushen glanced at him coldly.
“Who told you to kiss me?”
“Turn around.”
Nothing he did was right.
His face burning red, Lin Suian slowly leaned against the sofa.
Shi Yushen pulled down his own clothes to his wrists and tied them there.
…
After it ended, Lin Suian threw up.
His stomach churned violently as he knelt beside the toilet.
Only burning tears remained in his blurry eyes as they fell endlessly downward.
The bathtub behind him continued filling with hot water.
Shi Yushen crushed the cigarette beneath his shoe.
Then he left behind only one sentence.
“You know how to clean yourself up, right?”
Partway through, the housekeeper arrived.
Shi Yushen had something to deal with, so he left first.
Thankfully—
He had not tormented him for too long.
Lin Suian had no appetite.
After taking a shower, he skipped dinner entirely and went upstairs to sleep.
The housekeeper knocked on the door from outside.
“I left food warming in the kitchen. If you get hungry, Young Master Lin, come downstairs and eat something.”
Young master?
Lin Suian laughed bitterly at himself.
He was nothing more than a cheap whore anyone could use.
Halfway through the night, he developed a high fever.
Cold sweat soaked his body.
His throat hurt as though blades were scraping through it, filled with the metallic taste of blood.
Even breathing became painful.
The night was terribly dark—
Yet it also seemed close to dawn.
At some unknown time, Shi Yushen returned.
He dragged Lin Suian into the bathroom and forced him to shower again.
Freezing water poured over his body.
His lips trembled, and his bones shook uncontrollably.
“Didn’t I tell you to clean yourself up?”
“Why is it still inside?”
Only then did Lin Suian finally understand what Shi Yushen meant by “clean yourself up.”
Fingers pushed into the swollen area and forcefully removed the mixture stained with blood.
The pain made his brows tighten instantly.
A broken moan escaped him as his pale fingers unconsciously gripped the edge of the bathtub.
Shi Yushen stared at his weak and sickly appearance—
At the pain twisting across his face—
Yet only coldly said:
“Serves you right.”
“If you don’t suffer a little, you’ll never learn.”
There was no reason for Shi Yushen to pity him.
After all—
Lin Suian was only a toy he had bought with money.
A thing he could ruin and abuse however he pleased.
