My Stepsister Starts Her Attack

“Big brother, do you want to go out with me after school today?”

“Go out, huh…? Come to think of it, we really haven’t gone anywhere together recently.”

“Yeah, that’s why I thought, if you’re free, I’d like to go out with you.”

“That sounds fine… but is there somewhere in particular you want to go?”

“As long as it’s with you, anywhere is fine! Just walking around the city or something.”

“…Alright then, let’s just decide based on how we feel at the time.”

After that, Yumi and I continued chatting lightly as we finished our meal together. Then, after finishing the day’s classes at school, it was finally after school.

Just as I was about to leave the classroom, Kaname spoke to me.

“Ichihito, I was hoping we could hang out after school today. Do you have time?”

She asked with eyes full of expectation.
But since I’d end up betraying that look, I answered apologetically.

“Sorry, I already promised to go out with Yumi today.”

“…With Yumi-chan? Just the two of you?”

“That’s right.”

The moment I said that, Kaname’s eyes widened slightly before she looked down, her voice turning somewhat gloomy.

“…If you go out just the two of you, won’t that just make Yumi-chan see you even more as the opposite sex? Maybe you shouldn’t…”

“On the contrary. I think by going out just the two of us, it’ll help her clearly understand that we’re siblings.”

“But—…ugh, why am I even getting so desperate about this? Sorry for trying to hold you back.”

“…Yeah.”

Kaname seemed a little strange, but since I had already made plans with Yumi, there was nothing I could do.
I’ll just make sure to spend more time playing with Kaname another day.

When I arrived at the school gate, our meeting spot, Yumi was already there in her uniform, waving energetically at me.

“Big brother! Over here, over here!”

Once we met up, we headed straight into the city.
But then Yumi suddenly said something outrageous.

“Big brother, can I link arms with you?”

“No.”

“Big brother, can I kiss you?”

“No.”

“Big bro—”

“No matter what it is, the answer’s no. That’s not something siblings should be doing.”

Although she didn’t argue back—unusual for Yumi—she only showed a small gesture of acknowledgment.

I wasn’t sure why, but maybe she was beginning to change little by little.

While I was thinking that, we wandered the city until Yumi suggested we enter a shopping mall. Inside, she dragged me into a clothing store.

“Big brother! I want to try on this outfit!”

The clothes she held up were a top with cut-out shoulders and some simple pants.

“I see. Well then, let’s go to the fitting room.”

Together, we walked to the fitting room area.
There was no one else around, and the single fitting room was empty. Confirming that, I opened my mouth to say—

“Alright, Yumi, I’ll wait here in front of the—”

But before I could finish, Yumi smirked and pushed me into the fitting room. Then, she herself stepped in right after me.

Her expression was cheerful as ever, lips curved up playfully, while my own expression must have been the complete opposite.

Unable to process the sudden situation, I spoke in a flustered tone.

“Y-Yumi…!? What are you—”

“If you raise your voice, they’ll find out there are two people in here, you know?”

It was true. Luckily, no one had been around when we came in, so no one should have seen us. But if I made noise, there was a real chance we’d get caught. Still—

“Then why did you even do this in the first place?”

“Instead of asking that, shouldn’t we do something more exciting, since it’s just the two of us in a fitting room?”

Her cheeks flushed red as she guided my hand to the buttons of her uniform.

“Big brother… it’s okay if you undress me, you know?”
