At that moment, He Xinyan spotted Su Li in the lounge area of the KTV. He walked over to greet her.

The moment Su Li saw him, she instinctively looked in the direction he had come from, thinking Mo Xingyuan had arrived as well.

“Nice to meet you. He Xinyan.” He Xinyan extended his hand like a perfect gentleman.

Out of politeness, Su Li shook his hand. “Do you need something?”

“I just wanted to get to know you.” He Xinyan sat down across from her, smiling warmly.

Su Li assumed he knew about her relationship with Mo Xingyuan and had come over on purpose to say hello, so she didn’t ask further. She simply gave him a faint smile.

His eyes brightened. She had the kind of beauty that was pleasing and effortless—enough to make one’s heart skip a beat.

Only Mo Xingyuan, that blind fool, had no taste.

“Want to drop by our room?” He Xinyan wanted to take her in front of Mo Xingyuan and let him properly appreciate what a real beauty looked like.

With a woman this pretty, he wouldn’t even care how fake she was.

Su Li secretly thought that since Mo Xingyuan’s friend had come looking for her, it was probably at Mo Xingyuan’s instruction.

She nodded. “Sure.”

He Xinyan was surprised she agreed so readily. She must be used to being approached and had seen plenty of the world.

He could accept a woman who was ambitious and beautiful.

Of course, the prerequisite was that she had to be beautiful.

He Xinyan led Su Li to their private room. As he pushed the door open, he raised his brows at Mo Xingyuan, who looked over, a smug expression spreading across his face.

Just as he was about to casually drape an arm around Su Li’s shoulders, Chi Mu suddenly called out, “Madam.”

He Xinyan’s hand froze midair. Confused, he looked at Chi Mu, then deliberately glanced behind him. There was no one there.

“Who are you calling?”

Chi Mu’s gaze fell on Su Li.

Su Li was a little stunned as well.

It seemed that He Xinyan didn’t actually know who she was.

So it wasn’t Mo Xingyuan who had sent him to find her.

Awkwardly, He Xinyan stepped away from Su Li. After the initial shock, he still couldn’t help asking, “You’re Mo Xingyuan’s wife?”

Su Li glanced at Mo Xingyuan. She was wondering whether she should nod right now.

After all, Mo Xingyuan had said their relationship couldn’t be made public.

“Ask him.” Su Li kicked the ball to Mo Xingyuan.

Mo Xingyuan stubbed out his cigarette. He said nothing, but his silence had already given He Xinyan the answer.

He Xinyan: “…”

It felt as if cracks had appeared across his handsome face. He looked at Su Li, then at Mo Xingyuan. “Am I part of your couple’s play or something?”

Su Li swallowed. She truly hadn’t known He Xinyan was unaware of her identity. If she had known, she wouldn’t have come.

“You guys have fun. I won’t disturb you.” Su Li forced a fake smile and quickly left.

After she left, He Xinyan closed the door, poured himself a drink, and only after finishing it did he walk over to stand in front of Mo Xingyuan.

Seeing Mo Xingyuan’s indifferent expression irritated him.

“Only you could be this unconcerned.” He Xinyan sat across from him, crossing his legs. “Honestly, she looks way more pleasing to the eye than that other one.”

He even asked Chi Mu, “Right?”

Chi Mu offered no comment.

Mo Xingyuan glanced at He Xinyan. “You talk too much.”

“You really don’t like her?” He Xinyan put a cigarette between his lips. “She doesn’t seem to like you either. Why not get a divorce? I’ll marry her.”

Mo Xingyuan let out a scoff.

“She likes me.”

Then he added, “She’s unwilling to divorce.”

He Xinyan sized him up. “Why do I feel like you sound a bit proud?”

“I’m just stating the facts.” Mo Xingyuan shot him a look. “If she were willing to divorce, I could cooperate and fulfill your wish.”

He Xinyan rolled his eyes. “Scumbag.”

Mo Xingyuan didn’t care at all what He Xinyan called him.

After singing for two hours, Su Li and her group finally walked out of the private room.

They were chatting and laughing when suddenly someone, blushing like a blooming peach blossom, whispered shyly to them, “There are three really handsome guys behind us. The super handsome kind.”
