Chapter – 86Â
 Is It Her?
Lu Li gazed at her, hiding the deep thoughts in his eyes.
âThen Iâll go first.â Lu Ziqing stretched out her hand, her gaze drifting toward Huo Zheng from time to time.
Huo Zheng tilted his head up to look at the sky, pretending he didnât see anything.
The master withdrew his gaze from Mu Wanwan and lowered his eyes to look at Lu Ziqingâs open palm. The others also quietly kept silent.
Lu Ziqing looked at the master nervously and asked impatiently, âMaster, how is it?â
âYou were born into a wealthy family, but your temperament is somewhat spoiled. You must learn to restrain your temper, otherwise you may suffer losses in the future,â the master said calmly.
Qiao Le turned her head, almost unable to hold back her laughter.
It seemed this master really was quite accurate.
Being told this in front of everyone made Lu Ziqing feel embarrassed. She lightly bit her lip and continued to ask,
âThen what about my romantic fate?â
âMaster, take a look at his romantic fate too.â Fu Dong suddenly grabbed Huo Zhengâs hand and placed it on the table. Caught off guard, Huo Zheng staggered forward.
Three simple words came outâdirect and full of his usual dominance.
âCousin, arenât you joining too?â Fu Dong boldly asked.
âYou canât ask like that.â Mu Wanwan noticed Qiao Le and the others trying hard not to laugh. She quickly tried to pull her hand back.
Lu Li suddenly grabbed Mu Wanwanâs hand and asked directly,
âIs it her?â
As for palm reading, it was fine to believe a little, maybe twenty or thirty percent.
Lu Li glanced at him, then took his hand out of his pocket and placed it in front of the master. His thin lips spoke in a cold voice.
âLook at my romantic fate.â
He glared at Fu Dong unhappily and complained,
âFu Dong, anyone who didnât know better would think you were my mother, worrying so much about my lifelong marriage.â
After that, Fu Dong also had his palm read, but it was about his career line. An Yao, however, rarely participated and simply stood quietly at the side.
Lu Ziqing froze for a moment, then angrily walked away in embarrassment.
That scene made Qiao Le and the others, the eager spectators, greatly amused.
Hearing this, Huo Zheng smiled casually.
For something like palm reading, believing a little was enough.
If you believed it completely, you would lose.
It was mostly just for show.
Huo Zheng and the others stared at Lu Li in shock. Was this really the Lu Li they knew?
Even Mu Wanwan couldnât hide her surprise. Lu Li had always shown no interest in fortune-telling or palm reading.
âRomantic fate is something that cannot be forced. It requires mutual feelings between two people. Remember not to force it, otherwise the one who gets hurt in the end will still be yourself.â
Fu Dong grinned mischievously.
âDonât mention it. Between brothers, itâs only right to care about you.â
Huo Zheng clicked his tongue just as the masterâs voice sounded again.
âThis benefactor has many romantic opportunities. However, sometimes you must be more attentive, or the fate that belongs to you may be taken by someone else.â
Why was Lu Li acting so unusually today?
What master monk? It was probably all just bluffing.
âThe romantic fate destined for you has already come to your side a long time ago.â
After saying that single sentence, the master stopped speaking.
The master smiled knowingly and carefully studied Lu Liâs palm. After a moment, he looked up at Lu Li. His cloudy eyes carried a wisdom that seemed to see through everything.
Lu Li tightly held Mu Wanwanâs hand and refused to let go. He lowered his head to look at the master.
The master clasped his hands together and said with a faint smile,
âBenefactor, donât you already have the answer in your heart?â
Lu Li curled his lips into a smile and, rarely, said words of thanks.
âThank you.â
Mu Wanwan pulled her hand back, avoiding his dark gaze and pretending to look around at the surrounding scenery.
An Yao bit her lip tightly. A faint taste of blood spread in her mouth, yet she seemed not to feel it at all. Reflected in her eyes was the handsome profile of the man, and a determined glint flashed through them.
