Synopsis
The “Modern Art Club,” on the verge of being abolished.
The club president, Maiko Shioi, who is blessed with striking looks, spouts self-indulgent theories about art.
In order to avoid disbandment, Shioi proposes a deal to the vice president, Kazuki: if he helps recruit new members, he will be allowed to paint her as a model. She tells him he can depict her however he wants, in any pose or situation he desires.
Kazuki, who secretly has feelings for Shioi, is easily hooked by the bait and throws himself into recruiting new members.
The people who end up joining include a confrontational former soccer girl, and a mysterious first-year student who can manipulate trompe-l’œil (optical illusion) art.
A group of misfits, all gathered together, begins to shatter the very concept of art in their after-school clubroom!
And Kazuki’s passion for creating the “perfect piece” eventually leads to a dangerous promise with the beautiful club president…
