Chapter 6: Will Being Your Boyfriend Get Me Fed?
Early the next morning, Chen Nanxing got up early.
She hadn’t felt this relaxed in a long time, and her mood was unusually good. After washing up, she thought for a moment and put on a little light makeup before changing her clothes.
Seeing her daughter bustling around, Chen Nanxing’s mother felt as though her heart were being pricked by needles. The pain was indescribable.

“Nanxing, can we go eat steamed buns now?”

Chen An reached out and touched her forehead.

Chen Nanxing slapped his hand away and pulled him along.
As they walked, she muttered,
“If you don’t eat six steamed buns this big later, just wait and see how I’ll deal with you…”
Chen An naturally kept his word.
Not only did he eat six and a half meat-filled steamed buns, he also drank two bowls of porridge and ate a tea egg.
Watching Chen An wolf down his food, Chen Nanxing somehow found her own appetite improving as well.
For the first time in ages, she ate one and a half steamed buns.
After breakfast, the two walked out of the shop.

“What are you bringing me here for?”
