 The Settings Screen Written in Japanese
And so, while suppressing my racing excitement, I summoned the status screen.
The method was simple.
I merely poured magic power into my fingertips and traced downward through the air.
That alone was enough.
This method existed because constantly saying âStatus Openâ inside the game every single time had been troublesome, so the developers had simplified the status display system, allowing players to instantly view their status even during gameplay.
One major advantage of this method was that you could display your status while chanting a spell.
And just as I had expected, my status appeared before my eyes.
I had already confirmed that the status screen itself could be displayed, so that part was fine.
Rather, the real issue began here.
With trembling fingertips, I manipulated the status screen and navigated to a certain settings menu to confirm something.
There, written in Japanese, was a settings screen labeled:
âStatus Reflection On/Off Settings.â
The moment I saw that screen, my heart began pounding like a hammer, while cold sweat poured down me from excitement and tension.
However, after confirming that every single option had been turned OFF, I finally understood why I had possessed neither talent nor potential all this time.
Since all of the level-up ability reflection settings had been disabled, no matter how much effort I put in, my abilities could never rise beyond their base values.
And then, I selected the option:
âTurn On All Settings.â
And what happened next?
I could feel an overwhelming amount of magic power surging forth from within my body.
I felt as though I could shatter even rocks with my fists, and my body transformed to the point where I was convinced I could even withstand a dragonâs breath.
The next thing I tested was the skill ăMapă.
The main purpose was to check whether there was anyone nearby before continuing.
And after confirming that there was no one around me, I simply couldnât stop anymore.
I spent the entire night testing every magic spell and skill I remembered from the game.
Before I realized it, dawn had begun to break, and the eastern sky was gradually growing brighter.
About four hours must have passed.
As expected, if I didnât return home soon, people might notice that I had snuck out, so I forcibly suppressed my desire to keep testing my powers and began making my way back.

About two hours after returning home, it was time for me to wake up.
But naturally, after experiencing something like that, there was no way I could actually sleep.
Instead, I displayed my status screen and carefully examined every last detail of it.
