Chapter 2
The Clingy Idol
Of course, Ruka only acts all clingy and spoiled when it’s just the two of us.
Normally, he just calls me “Risa” without honorifics, and his tone is more of that bossy, “older brother” type.
Until recently, he was in the same idol group as me—i3 (Ice Three)—and now he’s a fellow ex-idol attending the same high school. He’s also the boyfriend of my best friend, Aoi Mogami, another former member of i3. And yet, even with Fuma Kisaragi, Aoi’s boyfriend, he still keeps up that “older brother” persona.
And yet with me—
“Risa-chan, you didn’t give me a head pat.”
This is the kind of behavior I get.
When class ended and I walked out of the school building, there he was again, waiting for me as always.
Even though I never asked him to.
Honestly, I wish he would just go home by himself already.
Even though we go to the same school, Ruka is in the performing arts course, which is held in a completely different building, pretty far from mine.
But every time classes end, he shows up with Fuma—who comes to pick up my best friend Aoi from my class—and just waits around for me. Honestly, I can’t help but think he must have way too much free time.
For someone who’s supposed to be an idol.
Sure, I’ll admit I did feel a little lonely when Aoi, who used to walk home with me, started heading back with Fuma instead…
But then Ruka goes and acts all clingy, and out of nowhere—
“Don’t ignore me.”
His sexy voice comes from behind as he suddenly wraps me in a back hug. Then he whispers in that sickly sweet voice, “Where’s my head pat?”
He’s seriously disgusting.
