Synopsis
Jian is a second-year resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine. On the one day she finally gets off work, she is dragged into a forced blind date arranged by her grandmother. Just as she is despairing over her rude date’s verbal abuse, a man comes to her rescue.
The man is incredibly handsome. Since it’s her birthday, she has the day off, and there are no emergency calls waiting for her…
“Are you confident you can handle me?”
“I guess… I’ll find out if I try.”
The man pulled her into his arms so fiercely that it felt as though he might snap her waist in two.
She never thought she would see the man with whom she had spent such an intense night again. But then, he was appointed chairman of the hospital where Jian worked.
“Let’s get along well from now on, Dr. Hong Jian.”
“…!”
“My attention has always been focused on you alone. I’m not joking around right now.”
Watching Jian run away whenever they crossed paths, Tae-jun let out a small laugh.
Had he ever been like this in his life? He had never acted so impulsively before.
His curiosity turned into instinct, and his instinct transformed into certainty in an instant. Now that he was certain of his feelings, he had no reason to hesitate.
