Synopsis
Lee Na-young lived in the modern world, but when she opened her eyes, she found herself inside a novel as Princess Uihwa. To make matters worse, she was about to enter the palace and become the Empress of the Northern Empire.
The author of the unfinished novel had promised that the story would have a happy ending. But what Na-young faced was a world of struggles between royal concubines, political schemes at court, and an Emperor who was cold and impossible to understand.
She couldn’t escape, and she couldn’t return to her original world.
She had only one choice left: survive.
A woman who was not a real princess had taken the position of Empress. To keep her secret from being discovered and to avoid being crushed by the palace’s schemes, she struggled to get through each day.
But something strange began to happen. As she fought to survive, she found people she wanted to keep by her side and a position she wanted to protect.
Could she really trust the author’s promise of a happy ending?
Even today, Na-young continues to fight for survival inside this unfamiliar palace.
