Synopsis
“Darling. Don’t you want to get revenge on those who killed me?”
A portrait of her dead husband spoke to her. It happened just after his funeral.
But then—
“Make a contract with me. Give me your soul, Ove.”
A sweet voice and gentle eyes. Yet there was an unsettling eeriness and unfamiliarity that he could not completely hide.
This isn’t my husband.
The man inside the painting was a demon wearing her husband’s appearance.
Even so, I willingly sold my soul.
To find the culprit who killed Camille and drive a knife straight through his heart.
But then…
“You’re really too cruel. Your rabbit-like husband has been waiting for you endlessly, yet you’re off having an affair with another man, and you won’t even go for a walk with me…”
Tsk. Something was strange.
Had I brought home a dog instead of a demon?
But there was an even bigger problem.
“You can take my time whenever you want. No, actually, I wish you would.”
“And what reason could there possibly be for you not to love me? We look exactly alike.”
“Ove. I’m your husband now. You should be paying attention to me.”
……Being possessive wasn’t part of the contract.
No, more importantly, he wasn’t even my real husband, so why was he being this sweet?
You’re a demon, for goodness’ sake!
