Until she dealt with yet another scandal, until she heard him mocking their marriage with outsiders.
Xu Yan didn’t want to continue.

Two years later, returning to City A for work, she gently squeezed his hand and introduced herself: “My surname is Ye, from the Ye family of Hong Kong, Ye Shiyan.”
Seeing a woman who looked exactly like his deceased wife, Zhou Jingyan, who had vowed never to remarry, was driven almost mad, and began a fervent pursuit.
”Yan Yan, are you free tonight? Let’s have dinner together.”
”Yan Yan, this jewelry suits you very well.”
”Yan Yan, I missed you.”
Xu Yan smiled faintly: “I heard Mr. Zhou won’t remarry.”
Zhou Jingyan knelt on one knee, kissing her hand: “Yan Yan, I was wrong, please give me another chance?”
