Synopsis
This work has been revised into a Clean Version suitable for a 15+ age rating from the original work, which was rated for readers 19 and older.
Nix Feroa, the Lord of Loudhill and the Iron Horse Duke, suffers a terrible accident during a war that leaves the skin covering his entire body horribly scarred.
Although he becomes a hero admired by the public for his outstanding achievements on the battlefield, all he is left with is an intense inferiority complex about his appearance.
Even his fiancée, whom he had been engaged to since childhood, breaks off their engagement. As a result, Nix develops a fear of social interaction. Whenever he finds himself in front of women in particular, his mind goes completely blank, and he becomes so nervous that he can barely control himself.
“I’m fine the way I am. I’m not interested in women.”
Convinced that no one will ever love him, Nix gives up on romance and marriage altogether.
However, his younger brother Desidero cares for him deeply. After searching everywhere, he finally finds and brings back a pagan apothecary who is exceptionally knowledgeable about skin diseases…
“My name is Tichite Lanram.”
But you never said she was a woman!
She had long, luxuriant, jet-black curly hair.
Her cheeks were so red that they seemed to carry the scent of roses.
She was short and petite.
A woman.
…A woman.
Nix Feroa stopped polishing his helmet and froze like a mouse that had just encountered a cat.
