Iâm Coming
âFound him?â
âYes. Here he is.â
The organization member placed several photographs he was holding onto the table in the center of the room.
Every member of the organization was then able to see Gwanghyeon’s face.
âSince all we knew was his face, we had to dig through every publicly available Hunter profile. It took some effort, but we finally found him.â
The organization’s leader, the villain Hwang Geon-uk, picked up one of the photographs from the table.
He stared intently at the picture for a moment before slowly tightening his grip and crumpling it in his hand.
Seeing that, the organization members began nervously watching his reaction.
âSo this bastard is the one who messed with one of our own.â
âUh⊠Big Brother, there’s something a little strange. His profile says he’s an E-rank Hunter.â
At the mention of an E-rank Hunter, the members began murmuring among themselves.
âE-rank?â
âHow could a guy like that take down Woo Min-hyeok?â
However, Hwang Geon-uk wasn’t particularly shaken by the information.
âThere’s no way his skills are really E-rank. Woo Min-hyeok isn’t an idiot.â
At those words, every member immediately fell silent and nodded.
âAnyway, it doesn’t matter. So where is he? Where’s this bastard staying?â
Hwang Geon-uk asked the member who had investigated Gwanghyeon, his demeanor suggesting he might charge out at any moment.
But the members began trying to stop him.
âB-Big Brother, please calm down.â
âYou don’t need to go yourself. We’ll take care of it.â
There was a reason the members were reacting this way.
If Hwang Geon-uk moved personally, it was obvious that far too much commotion would follow.
ââŠHaah. Fuck!â
Understanding their concerns, Hwang Geon-uk slammed his fist down on the table with enough force to make it seem as though he might split it in half.
Then, reluctantly calming himself, he sat back down.
âFine. Then find him yourselves and bring him here. Preferably alive.â
Only then did the members relax and nod.
They immediately got up and began moving.
Later that evening.
Following the information they had gathered, the villains belonging to Raven arrived near Gwanghyeon’s house.
They briefly considered storming straight into the house, but decided to observe the situation for a while first.
âClick.
Just then, the door opened, and Gwanghyeonâthe man they had been waiting forâstepped outside.
The villains held their breath as they watched him.
ââŠHe came out.â
ââŠThat’s him.â
Wearing a hooded zip-up jacket, Gwanghyeon quietly took a bag of general waste to the designated trash collection point and began sorting the recyclables.
Watching this, the organization’s members gradually began to lose some of their tension.
There was no rule saying a Hunter couldn’t do housework, but Gwanghyeon simply looked like an unremarkable unemployed man.
âUgh, there we go.â
After finishing with the trash, Gwanghyeon silently glanced to the side.
Then he started walking somewhere.
The villains watching him slowly began following behind.
âHe’s going to an area with hardly anyone around on his own.â
âGood. We can start here.â
But thenâ
Gwanghyeon suddenly disappeared from their sight.
The villains stood there blankly, looking around.
âHuhâŠ?â
âDid you see where he went?â
At that very moment, they sensed a chill in the air around them and realized that something was wrong.
âBOOM!
âWhat the hell!?â
The villains were startled by a sudden vibration coming from behind them.
When they turned around, they saw the head of the person who had been following at the very back embedded in the ground.
And the one who had done it was none other than Gwanghyeonâthe man they had been tailing all this time.
âWho are you?â
The villains were visibly flustered.
They hurriedly drew their weapons and charged at him without even having time to discuss what to do.
âYou bastard!â
âDie!â
âCLANG!
Gwanghyeon blocked their first attack with the backs of both forearms.
The villains who had attacked him sneered.
They had clearly felt the impact.
Even though he had blocked the attack, they assumed that his arms must have taken a considerable amount of damage.
However, Gwanghyeon immediately punched forward without even changing his expression, delivering a powerful blow to the abdomen of the two villains who had charged first.
âGhk!â
âGuaaah!â
Standing before the fallen villains, Gwanghyeon rotated the forearms he had just used to block the attack.
âB-rank suit. Not bad.â
A little earlier, Gwanghyeon had left his house wearing the suit he had received from Minhyeong, with a hooded zip-up jacket worn over it.
He had decided to carry out his usual routine while wearing the suit in order to test how comfortable it was.
After finishing with the recycling, Gwanghyeon was about to head home when he suddenly stopped.
He had sensed something unusual in the distance.
ââŠâ
Although he hadn’t consciously realized it, Gwanghyeon’s senses had improved tremendously along with his physical abilities.
He couldn’t simply ignore the presence he had detected, so he pretended to go for a jog and headed in a different direction instead of returning home.
Before long, he became certain that a group was following him.
He had deliberately lured them to this location.
And now, Gwanghyeon had begun dealing with them while making use of the newly acquired suit.
âThis bastard!â
The two men who had charged first groaned in pain as they struggled back to their feet.
After exchanging glances with the others, they charged again.
At that point, Gwanghyeon became certain that these people really were villains.
âYou guys work for Woo Min-hyeok?â
âFuck off, you bastard!â
âDie!â
Apparently, they had no intention of talking.
Gwanghyeon naturally assumed a fighting stance.
Including the man he had slammed into the ground at the beginning, there were eight villains in total.
This was actually Gwanghyeon’s first time fighting multiple villains at once.
It would have been understandable for him to feel somewhat pressured, but he remained calm as he analyzed the attackers charging toward him.
âNone of them seem to have any particularly special individual abilities.â
All of the villains looked more or less the same.
They were dressed in black, each holding a weapon in either one or both hands.
Their weapons variedâswords, maces, staffs, bats, and so onâbut none of them appeared to possess any particularly special abilities.
Gwanghyeon clenched his teeth.
He gathered his strength throughout his entire body.
Soon, he could feel magical power surging through every part of him.
Tap!
Gwanghyeon stamped his foot against the ground and shot forward.
The villains were startled.
He had approached them far faster than they were moving themselves.
Before they could even react properly, Gwanghyeon began throwing punches one after another.
Every time his attacks connected, a sickening crack rang out.
âGuaaah!â
âUrgh!â
The villains, who had initially thought this would be an easy job, couldn’t help but realize that something was terribly wrong.
They were just punches.
Yet every single one was devastating.
With every hit, another bone seemed to break.
âDodge⊠We have to dodgeâŠâ
The villains realized that they wouldn’t be able to withstand another blow.
They belatedly decided that they needed to dodge or at least block.
They hurriedly changed their stances.
But it was all pointless.
Gwanghyeon’s movements were already too fast for their eyes to follow, and even when they raised their guards, his punches simply smashed straight through them.
âF-Fuck⊠How can he do this with his bare handsâŠ?â
Before they knew it, only three villains remained standing properly on both feet.
They were bitterly regretting the fact that they hadn’t come here together with Hwang Geon-uk.
âUghhhh⊠S-Save meâŠâ
Among those lying on the ground, the least injured one groaned as he crawled along the floor.
When Gwanghyeon saw him, he approached and stomped down on both of his hands.
Crack!
The man crawling across the ground screamed before promptly passing out.
The three who were still standing shrank back even further.
They had completely lost the will to attack Gwanghyeon.
Now, they could think of only one thingâ
How could they escape?
âWe need to call Big Brother.â
All three came to the same conclusion and exchanged glances.
Then, simultaneously, they fled in three different directions.
âPlease, please don’t come after me!â
Since they had escaped in three directions, surely at least two of them would get away!
Thinking this, the villains ran without even looking back.
Crack!
âGyaaaaaah!â
A dying scream rang out from one direction.
The other two villains felt slightly relieved.
It was unfortunate for the one who had been caught, but at least they had survived.
Boom!
âGyaaaaaah!â
But then another scream rang out.
The remaining villain, who had no idea what was happening, turned his head in confusion.
âGrab!
âHuh?â
At that moment, he finally understood what had happened.
Gwanghyeon had first chased down one of the villains and shattered his skull with a punch.
Then he had gone after the villain who fled in another direction and grabbed him before smashing him into the ground.
And now, he had even caught the last oneâthe man who had managed to get the farthest awayâby the back of his neck.
âH-How can his legs be this fast, too?â
The villain whose neck Gwanghyeon had seized began trembling violently.
Just what the hell was this Hunter?
âYou.â
Gwanghyeon spoke with a cold expression.
The villain flinched and hurriedly answered.
âYou’re one of Woo Min-hyeok’s men, right?â
âY-Yes! Yes, yes! That’s right!â
âAre you all that’s left?â
âWhat? W-What do you meanâŠ?â
âI mean, are all of your organization’s members here?â
âTh-ThatâŠâ
Gwanghyeon lifted the villain into the air.
âIf this is all of you, thenâŠâ
âW-Wait! Wait! There are more! There are more!!â
With his body about to be slammed into the ground, the villain finally opened his mouth.
Gwanghyeon knocked out every villain except the last one.
He gathered the seven unconscious villains in one place and contacted the Villain Task Force.
âTeam Leader Ryu Se-yeong, this is Choi Gwanghyeon.â
âYes, Gwanghyeon. What’s going on?â
âI’d like you to send some people over here immediately.â
âWhat? What do you meanâŠ?â
âI just caught some villains.â
Ryu Se-yeong was clearly bewildered by Gwanghyeon’s abrupt statement.
âI didn’t tie them up separately, but they probably won’t be able to escape. As for where we are right nowâŠâ
Gwanghyeon gave Ryu Se-yeong a rough description of the location where he had gathered the unconscious villains.
After ending the call, Gwanghyeon let out a sigh.
âI was somewhat on guard, but I didn’t expect word about me to reach the villains this quickly.â
Gwanghyeon deeply furrowed his brow as he glared at the only villain he had restrained.
âHow did you find out?â
âWhat? Find out whatâŠ?â
âHow did you know that I was the one who caught Woo Min-hyeok?â
âO-On that day, someone was watching the situation from a distance! He remembered your face, and then we searched the Hunter profiles to investigateâŠâ
The villain confessed everything that had happened.
After hearing the story, Gwanghyeon sighed.
They had managed to investigate all of this just from his face?
Gwanghyeon became furious when he realized that, if things had gone wrong, even the children could have been put in danger.
âIt was a mistake. I can make up for it. Still, I need to be much more careful from now on.â
Gwanghyeon decided that he would immediately go to Raven’s headquartersâthe organization’s baseâand completely destroy it.
âAre there any other villains connected to your organization?â
âN-No. There aren’t.â
ââŠâ
The man was completely terrified, so Gwanghyeon didn’t think he was lying.
Even so, he decided to be more cautious.
Leaving the villain tied up, Gwanghyeon quickly returned home and grabbed a simple mask and sunglasses to conceal his face, along with his gauntlets.
âI should get something better after this is over.â
Once he was ready, Gwanghyeon returned, hoisted the restrained villain over his shoulder, and started moving.
âTake me to your hideout.â
I’m coming.
To be continued.
