Synopsis
Lee Harang is an agent of ‘Baektaek,’ an organization that seals ‘Rifts,’ portals through which monsters pass. His newly assigned mission is to infiltrate and investigate ‘Eton Company,’ a black skyscraper in the heart of Gwanghwamun that recently launched a miraculous anti-aging cosmetic.

However, for Harang, whose life has been cut short by an overload of spiritual power, Eton Company—filled with the energy of monsters—is practically a poison-gas chamber. In the end, he skips work on his very first day, only to encounter Kim Hyun the following day, the heir to Eton and the leader of the task force, who comes all the way to Harang’s home…

But there’s something strange about this man. Every time Harang comes into contact with Kim Hyun, an astonishingly potent surge of yang energy flows into him, improving his condition. Worried sick that his identity might have been discovered, Harang remains guarded and defensive, but Kim Hyun openly flirts with him, seemingly enjoying Harang’s reactions.

On the surface, it appears to be the team leader taking an overbearing interest in a sickly, pretty new recruit. But in truth, Kim Hyun already knew.

He knew that Harang was a little rat sent by ‘Baektaek.’

He slowly traced his fingertip along Harang’s pale nape as it appeared on the monitor. He didn’t know what kind of missions Harang had been through up until now, but what a sloppy and careless Baektaek agent he was.

“Go ahead and look as hard as you can. Deeper, all the way to the most sordid places.”

Beneath the blue glow of the monitor, Kim Hyun’s eyes flashed red like a serpent.
