Lacey, the princess of the Kingdom of Euphorian, was falsely accused of assassinating the king and imprisoned in a tower.
She thought she had frozen to death during the bitter winter—
only to awaken in the unfamiliar land of Canis as a maid named Lacey.
The same face and the same name.
Yet their identities could not have been more different: one was a princess, while the other was a maid.
Putting aside the countless questions overwhelming her, Lacey focused on a single objective:
finding her father’s true murderer and clearing her name.
But to accomplish that, she first had to return to the Kingdom of Euphorian….
“Master, please break my contract.”
“…Contract termination? Is that what you mean by ‘con-break’?”
Yet the termination papers for her lifelong contract kept mysteriously disappearing!
At this point, she had no choice but to take drastic measures.
“Don’t you think keeping me here will cause the House of Canis enormous losses?”
“The Canis family’s wealth and military power are not so pathetic that something this trivial could damage them.”
No matter how many unpleasant things Lacey said, Ash Canis did not even blink.
Why on earth was this man so determined to keep her?
