Synopsis
“That marriage you just mentioned… am I the one who’s supposed to do it?”
Because of a promise between their grandfathers long ago, Hae-yoon receives a marriage proposal from In-hyuk, the Executive Director of the DY Group.
For In-hyuk, marriage is simply something he needs, so he treats his proposal like another business task.
“But I don’t love you, Mr. Do In-hyuk.”
A marriage based on necessity isn’t supposed to have romantic feelings.
But if love is what she wants, In-hyuk is willing to give it to her.
“Then let’s date first. I’ll be a good enough boyfriend that you won’t regret choosing me.”
“You’re mistaken. I didn’t choose you…”
“It’s okay if you end up truly falling in love with me. Starting today, I’ll try to love you too.”
That wasn’t a sweet promise between lovers.
It was practically a declaration of war.
