Mo Xingyuan drove and turned toward her company building, stopped the car, and said, “I’ll wait for you.”

She hurried into the company. Her coworkers saw her return and wanted to ask how things went.

Back in the car, Mo Xingyuan was on the phone, looking gloomy.

“Fasten your seat belt,” he reminded her.

As soon as the seat belt clicked, the car started moving.

She was really fed up with He Shuming. They had already broken up, so he could go play however he wanted—why did he have to come bother her?

“When you were dating, didn’t you know what kind of person he was?”
“We were basically an online relationship. At most, we met a few times in person. We never entered each other’s lives. What I knew about him was only what he showed online or over the phone.”

Mo Xingyuan glanced at her. “Then why did you agree to date him? What did you like about him?”
“He’s handsome.”
