Story 76
The Faceless Photograph
One day, an envelope with no sender arrived in the mailbox at home. Inside were several photographs taken when I went mountain climbing with my friends, but for some reason, my face in all of them had been erasedâsmooth, blank, featureless. I wondered who would do such a thing and why, so I consulted a friend.
âThatâs scary. But⊠how did you know it was you if your face isnât there?â
âWell, I looked at the clothes⊠but⊠wait, did I even own clothes like that?â
I tried to recall, but the truth was, I had never gone mountain climbing in the first place.
