When we moved to another room, the owner went to get the shoes. Gilbert guided me to a nearby chair and had me sit down.

Being shown into the back room like this must mean it’s one of those so-called VIP rooms, right? As expected of a duke’s household… it really is something.

“Tianna, could you take off your shoes?”

“…Yes.”

What’s gotten into Gilbert today? I could have put on the bandage myself, and I can wear socks on my own too, but he went out of his way to do it for me.
Could it be that the reason he carried me here earlier was to spare my feet?
