John took the note from my hand and dropped it onto the floor.

“Of course, we’ll keep sleeping together.”

My gaze naturally shifted back to his gown. He smirked and slightly lifted his lips.

“I sleep comfortably, so.”

Isn’t that a bit too casual! Unable to argue with John, I rolled my dull blue eyes. Then John chuckled and pinched my cheek.

“Uncomfortable?”

John, looking at me pensively, lightly traced my skin and asked in a subtle voice.

“Is it because of me, or because of how I’m dressed?”

I unconsciously swallowed. John slowly wrapped his hand around my waist and laid me down on the bed. Even the soft feel of the cozy blanket couldn’t hide my lingering discomfort.

“It’s… not exactly uncomfortable.”

“You seem quite uncomfortable to me.”

Suddenly, John’s face drew closer. Surprised by the sudden proximity, I instinctively recoiled back.

“Oh.”

John completely overpowered me and pushed me onto the bed.

If I kept trying to run away, I might end up with no thoughts at all and want to chase him.

His eager gaze swept over me as he slowly embraced me and seized my wrist. His thin wrist was clenched as if about to break, and he smiled like a hungry beast.

“What are you trying to do, provoking me this way?”
