Shen Yue watches in amazement as the eggshell slowly cracks open.

A tiny golden lion cub hatches. Its fur shines like gold, and it has bright, round black eyes and a cute pink nose that curiously sniffs the air.

Shen Yue is instantly charmed by the fluffy little cub and is delighted to discover that it is a Golden Lion.

She can’t stop thinking about how adorable it is and wants to cuddle and pet it.

The little Golden Lion recognizes Shen Yue immediately. After climbing out of the shell, it calls her its mother in a sweet, childish voice.

Shen Yue is overwhelmed with excitement and joy. She is deeply touched that the newborn recognizes her as its mother.

Holding the cub, she feels an instant bond with her child and marvels at how intelligent and extraordinary the little Golden Lion is.

Shen Yue immediately scoops the little Golden Lion cub into her arms and affectionately calls him Da Bao.The soft, fluffy cub nuzzles against her chest and happily tells her that he has finally met his mother. He also says that she smells wonderful and that he likes her very much.Shen Yue is completely overwhelmed by how adorable he is. Holding him fills her with warmth, happiness, and a powerful maternal instinct she has never experienced before.She realizes that the original owner of this body gave birth to a Golden Lion cub, which is an exceptionally rare and valuable bloodline in the Beast World.Although lion tribes are relatively common, pure-blooded Golden Lions are extremely rare. Seeing the cub’s brilliant golden fur, Shen Yue concludes that he must possess an exceptionally pure lineage.She speculates that the original Shen Yue may have unknowingly mated with a pure-blooded Golden Lion male during his mating season after entering Beast City.Shen Yue has no memories of what happened then. She only recalls that more than one male was involved, so she never knew who the father was.Judging from the result, she assumes the Golden Lion’s bloodline was dominant enough to outcompete the others, resulting in the birth of this pure-blooded Golden Lion cub.

Shen Yue feels relieved that the cub’s father is a Golden Lion. Regardless of his identity, she’s glad she gave birth to a rare and handsome Golden Lion instead of a strange-looking beast.Holding Da Bao, she wonders if the remaining six eggs will also hatch into Golden Lions. She secretly hopes at least one will be a little girl rather than all boys.The newborn cub is extremely attached to her. He snuggles into her arms and sleepily says he wants to sleep in his mother’s embrace.Shen Yue gently strokes his head and tells him to sleep while she holds him.Since he has just hatched, she assumes he is exhausted. She softly asks if she can name him Jin Yao (Yao Yao), and the cub happily agrees despite being half asleep.Soon he falls asleep in her arms, breathing peacefully and occasionally twitching his little ears. Shen Yue can’t stop admiring him and is completely smitten, realizing why mothers adore their own children so much.Their peaceful moment is interrupted when Xiong Jiaojiao arrives outside, shouting for Shen Yue to come out and threatening to smash her cave entrance.Shen Yue carefully lays the sleeping cub on a soft grass bed before going outside.Xiong Jiaojiao mocks Shen Yue, notices her flat stomach, and cruelly asks whether her newborn has already died.Shen Yue immediately insults her back, surprising everyone because she never used to stand up for herself.One of Xiong Jiaojiao’s beast husbands warns her that Shen Yue now has a powerful new beast husband, but Xiong Jiaojiao ignores him and insults both Shen Yue and her own husband.She demands that Shen Yue call out her new beast husband, accusing him of injuring her fifth husband earlier that day.Shen Yue calmly replies that Xiong Jiaojiao’s husband deserved it for trying to steal food from someone else’s cave, reminding her that the Beast God’s laws forbid such behavior.Xiong Jiaojiao becomes furious. Her strongest husband, Xiong Da, steps forward, saying that in the wilderness only strength matters and threatens to destroy Shen Yue’s cave.Shen Yue secretly prepares a poisoned silver needle, determined to kill him if he dares attack, because her sleeping cubs are inside and she will not let anyone hurt them.Xiong Da shoves Shen Yue aside and moves to smash the cave.At that moment, Shen Yue strikes with the silver needle, aiming at a vital point.Before anyone can react, a flash of golden fur rushes out—it is Da Bao.The tiny Golden Lion bites Xiong Da’s leg and bravely shouts that he must not hurt his mother.Xiong Da angrily kicks the little cub away with great force.Shen Yue falls to the ground and cries out in horror as Da Bao is sent flying through the air.
